Yes, this is me. I was 17. I was not afraid of what people thought or said about me. I dressed how I wanted. I still do. Am I embarrassed of this? Nope. I wouldn’t have posted this if I were. I was raised in a household where I was taught not to judge people, or stare or talk about their outside appearance in a negative way.
You know the weird thing is, in high school I never got picked on. Only when people can now hide behind their computers do they say things they wouldn’t in the “real world” or directly to me.
