Every time Jack Torrance talks to a ghost, there’s a mirror in the scene, except in the food locker scene. This is because in the food locker scene he only talks to Grady through the door. We never see Grady in this scene.
In the scene where Jack is writing and gets mightily upset when Wendy interrupts him, the chair behind Jack vanishes and then reappears. This was intentional from Kubrick. The audience was supposed to get a subconscious feeling that something was wrong.
I wish we could stay here forever and ever and ever.
